During this 2-Day course, you will experience firsthand techniques on how design thinking, innovation, and story converge to design customer-centered opportunities. You will learn the performance and science of storytelling, including story structure and types of stories. We will provide practical tools to support an innovative and collaborative mindset, drawing on a range of creative techniques and practices. You will discover how to apply storytelling to improve your presentations, speeches, or sales pitches, and how to effectively communicate your personal and brand narratives.

About this course
We will show you how Customer Journey Mapping and Storytelling can help you gain deeper insights into customer needs, behavior, experience, motivation, and desired outcomes. After a short introduction to Design Thinking, you will practice using its tools, focusing specifically on Customer Journey Mapping and Storytelling, by working on a real challenge.
Customer Journey Mapping is built up layer by layer. We start ‘above water’ with the customer and slowly dive deeper into the organizational structures and context. This tool can be used with customers, management, employees, and other stakeholders. The toolkit will be handed out after the training so you can start applying the tool immediately to your own business case.
Storytelling is a powerful medium for communication and sense-making. You will learn about its origins, scientific foundations, and applications in the business environment. Storytelling can manage conflicts, interpret the past, and shape the future. It helps humanize your message, creating emotional connections and building trust with your audience. By creating and telling stories, you can re-imagine and co-create the future.
