Definitions

Data we gather

When you provide documents (digitally) to DesignThinkers Academy A for further processing, DesignThinkers Academy will have access over certain information including persona information that can be found in those documents. Explanation: The information that DesignThinkers Academy receives from your answers, registrations to courses consist of; Company name, Name, invoice/company address, Email address, phone-number, IBAN/BIC. Product data that you have purchased, cost of services purchased, tax registration number, chamber of commerce number. To apply to one of our courses you will need to register online and provide us with personal and company details. If you are registering a number of participants on your company behalf you need to share their names, email addresses, country of residence, company name.

We might gather information about you that is publicly available.

How we use your Personal Data

We use your Personal Data in order to:

  • Provide our service to you. This includes for example registering your account; providing you with other services that you have requested; providing you with promotional items at your request and communicating with you in relation to those services; communicating and interacting with you, and notifying you of changes to any services.

  • (Anonymized data) for statistical purposes around the usage of our website.
  • To adapt or improve our website and services.

On the grounds of entering into a contract or fulfilling contractual obligations, we Process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. DesignThinkers Academy will take the appropriate technical and organizational precautions to protect your data against loss or any other unlawful processing. DesignThinkers Academy stores personal information regarding courses and event registration, the newsletter mailing distribution, and website information. This information is stored in our personal environment. To this environment only our own staff members have personal access to.

Even though we try our best we can not guarantee the security of information. However, we promise to notify suitable authorities of data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.
